Do not baste or pin the quilt layers together, they are loaded separately onto the rollers.

Trim all loose threads, they can show under light fabric. They can also cause snags and uneven stitching.

Check for any seams that are not properly caught in the 1/4” seam allowance.  These could come apart while the top is on the rollers.

Press your quilt well.

If borders are pieced on the outside edges, stay stitch
